Jaylen Brown has seemingly questioned his former teammate Jayson Tatum’s version of events surrounding his blockbuster trade from the Boston Celtics to the Philadelphia 76ers.
In a clip from Tatum’s Summer of Jayson video series, Tatum recalled learning that Boston had traded Brown to Philadelphia, saying he was just as caught off guard as the rest of the world.
But Brown’s response? One blue cap emoji. 🧢
The reaction has NBA fans questioning whether Tatum knew more about the trade than he let on. However, Brown has not explained exactly what he believes was untrue.
The two spent nine seasons together in Boston and helped the Celtics win the 2024 NBA championship. Now, their relationship is under the spotlight following a trade that sent Brown to Philadelphia and Paul George to Boston.
One emoji. A whole lot of questions. đź‘€
💬 WHO DO YOU BELIEVE? Is Jaylen Brown calling cap on Tatum’s story, or is this being blown out of proportion?
